CHRISTMAS STOCKINGS! That’s right. You heard me. Get those big needles out and some worsted weight yarn and knit up a pair of Christmas stockings for someone you know or for your own family. What about a sock for a someone who won’t be home for Christmas this year. Knit it, stuff it. VOILA!

And if you don’t celebrate Christmas, what about a stocking hat as a gift for someone. Use up some leftover sock yarn, double strand the yarn to make it thicker and see if you can create a cool stocking hat with stripes just in time for the cold weather… I KNOW! It’s not a sock, but it might be a fun way to use up old sock yarn!
